Recognizing the absence of guidelines for the impeachment of an officer if necessary.
Understanding the strong importance of having a set impeachment protocol invade it is needed.
Valuing the well being of the region and knowing that all officers serving our government must not stray from the path of legality or else they shall face the consequences of impeachment which will be listed in this protocol.
CFN Impeachment Protocol
I. Minister of Internal Affairs Convenes the Parliament
A. The Minister may convene the Parliament if —
1. Minister conducts a poll of the members of the Parliament.
2. And 2/3 of the members are in favor of convening.
II. Parliament Adopts Policies Establishing Procedures for the Impeachment Process
A. The Parliament adopts, by constitutional majority vote, policies establishing for, and governing the conduct of, the impeachment process.
III. Parliament Establishes Rules of Procedure and Swear Oath to Do Justice
A. Parliament considers a resolution containing Articles of Impeachment.
B The Parliament votes on each article. If any one of the articles receives at least a 2/3 majority vote, the officer is impeached.
C. Each MP will vote either —
1. "Guilty, upon my honor."
2. "Not guilty, upon my honor."
IV. Effect of Judgement
A. The impeached officer may be suspended, or removed, and disqualified to hold any state of office.
B. Suspended officer is disqualified from receiving the salary, fees, or emoluments of the office.
C. The impeached officer is acquitted if the Parliament fails to reach a 2/3 majority vote.
D. The impeached officer is turned over to the regional Court if a heinous crime is committed.
