The Mentorship Program Act
Recognizing that as of the last couple weeks, the CFN has been attracting many new nation to the region.
Noting that some, or most, of these nations are new the the world of NationStates.
Also noting that other regions have mentorship programs that have been successful in educating "newbies" about their region.
Wishing to make these nations feel welcome and accepted in the CFN, as I have.
This recommending:
-A mentorship program be set up in the region in order to show nations new or inexperienced in NationStates the ropes of the world, as well learn about the CFN.
-Allowing nations who have either been citizens of the CFN for one month, been active in NationStates for at least 3 months and/or have a position on influence (ex: CFN Cabinet member, political party Cabinet member, etc.) to mentor these new nations.
-Creation of an outline in which mentors should follow and present to their trainees, including how NationStates runs, how the region operates, how to join the World Assembly, etc.
-Limiting the mentorship to 2 nations at one time, and having a trainee a max of 10 days.
-Making the mentorship OPTIONAL for new members, as well as citizens eligible to become mentors.
-Allowing this proposal to be edited, if recommended.
