Amendment to the Ministerial Deputies Act
Noting how there are only a handful of government positions available to CFN members. Believing that, for these reasons, the Ministerial Deputies Act is necessary.
Hereby: -Allows Cabinet ministers to appoint their own deputies, if the minister chooses to do so. -Grants the Ministers the ability to delegate tasks to their deputy as long as the task is not crucial to the security and functioning of the region. Examples of tasks that cannot be delegated include: overseeing foreign affairs, ordering the military into a region, and ordering the military out of a region. Renames the office of 'Deputy Chancellor' to 'Vice Chancellor'. Clarifies that the six full ministers with the power of appointing deputies are: Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense, Minister of Justice, and Minister of Internal Affairs. Further clarifies that the elected Vice Chancellor is still first-in-line for Chancellor. Both Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor are allowed to appoint their own deputies independent of each other. Reiterates that all six full ministers must be elected by a vote of the people in a formal election. Clarifies that the appointment of a deputy is optional and at the discretion of each individual minister. Endorsed by:Namayapata, COLDR, Vista Major Denounced by:
