THE LEGAL CLARIFICATION ACT
A resolution to eliminate redundancies and conflicts in the law
PREAMBLE
Within the law of the Commonwealth lie several flaws, namely redundancies and directly and indirectly conflicting articles that, if the need ever arises for these laws to be used, pose a problem that often has to go through a long and tense period of resolution. This law seeks to eliminate these flaws made in the past, and prevent them in the future.

ARTICLE I:
Whenever the Chancellor declares a legal review, the Cabinet, and the Supreme Court, shall congregate to review the some or all of the Constitution and Law Code of the Commonwealth of Free Nations.
ARTICLE II:
During this legal review, the joint session of the Cabinet and the Supreme Court shall review the selected laws and edit (or repeal) them, as needed, to remove redundancies, conflictions, and other flaws.
ARTICLE III:
Any edits, repeals and other revisions made by the joint congregation of the Cabinet and Supreme Court may be subjected to overturn by a referendum via Parliament.
ARTICLE IV:
If Parliament gains enough signatures for a referendum, the leader of the referendum effort shall draft a law that will either revise the revisions of the Cabinet and Supreme Court, or repeal the revision entirely. Afterwards, a 4-day referendum vote shall follow. The result of the referendum is final.
ARTICLE V:
If there is ever a tie in a vote during the legal review, Parliament can break the tie by a simple majority vote.
ARTICLE VI:
The time and duration of the legal review shall be negotiated by the Cabinet and Supreme Court to ensure that all (or as many as possible of) those within the Cabinet and Supreme Court can attend for as long as necessary.
