Lord Chief Justice's Statement:
The Ministry of Culture Bill has been brought to this branch of government, to this most honourbale court, for judicial review of it's constitutionality. The Bill in question is as follows:
"Respecting the Commonwealth of Free Nations as a region of diverse cultures and identities.
Considering cultural roleplay events as opportunities to increase regional participation through pleasure and fun.
Recognizing the need for formal organization of cultural events and to ensure successful execution.
ACTIONS
I: The Cabinet shall create the Ministry of Culture, that shall be responsible for managing all cultural roleplay events, including but not limited to the Arts, Entertainment, and Sport. The Ministry of Culture shall also be responsible for showcasing the cultural practices of various nations of the Commonwealth of Free Nations.
II: The Minister of Culture shall be an official member of Cabinet.
III: The Minister of Culture shall not have a definite term in office; they may be ousted and replaced by a standard vote of Parliament at any time. The Chancellor shall appoint the first Minister of Culture until a new Minister of Culture is elected.
IV: The Minister of Culture shall be the de facto moderator and manager of cultural roleplay events within the CFN, unless another citizen is appointed by the Minister of Culture or chosen by popular demand to take up the position.
V. The Minister of Culture will have jurisdiction over the CFN Map.
VI. The Minister of Culture will collaborate with the Vice-Chancellor for regional recruitment.
VII. The Minister of Culture will have the responsibility of setting up regional meetups, i.e. Skype Chats"
The Court shall render a verdict on this matter through a simple vote of Yay or Nay after each Justice as considered it thoroughly. Should any citizen wish to be herd on this matter they may request a hearing by filing out a simple letter to be herd leaving said letter in Courtroom 1.
