Electoral Justice Act Constitutional Amendment
Noting that the CFN is a democratic region that utilizes government mechanisms through the power of its people
Understanding that all important government posts should be democratically elected by the people
This Bill Hereby Calls For
1. The position of Chief Justice shall be democratically elected by registered citizens and residents of the CFN.
2. Upon the election of the Cabinet, the Chancellor shall nominate three candidates of his/her choosing to be Chief Justice.
3. The candidates cannot hold any Cabinet Post at the same time. If they do, they must resign from their post or not run as a candidate.
4. Once the Chancellor has nominated three candidates, a Regional TG will be sent out by the Lord-Chancellor listing the three candidates and from there, any citizen or resident will vote for one candidate. Whichever candidate gets the most votes, wins. (First-Past-The-Vote)
5. After 4 days of the ballot being sent out, the Lord-Chancellor will tally up the results and send a regional TG notifying the region of the winner.
6. The Chief Justice will still remain as a non-Cabinet post.
