The Deputy Restoration Act
(Affirming that this is a reiteration of Jaslandia's former bill: "Ministerial Deputies Act")
Noting how there are only a handful of government positions available to CFN members.
Further noting that procedure for replacing a Minister who has resigned is not currently defined.
Believing that, for these reasons, the Ministerial Deputies Act is necessary. Hereby:(I) Allows Cabinet ministers to appoint their own deputies, if the minister chooses to do so.(II) Grants the Ministers the ability to delegate tasks to their deputy, so long as the task is not crucial to the security and functioning of the region.(Sub-II) Tasks that cannot be delegated include, but are not limited to: managing foreign affairs regarding the admission or dismissal of a region as an ally of the Commonwealth, and ordering the military to complete an interregional mission.(III) Establishes the minister's deputy as said minister's successor in office in the event that said minister resigns or is incapacitated from serving during his or her term.(IV) Affirms that if a Deputy assumes the position of their former superior's, they must be formally confirmed into the seat by Parliament.(V) Clarifies that the appointment of a deputy is optional and at the discretion of each individual minister. We already have deputies still in place...? Why do you feel the need to rewrite an already-existing law? Also, the reason the first one was repealed was because of that "successor" mention. For someone to be a Cabinet Minister they have to go through an election.
I denounce.

This just seems to be a slight modification of my old bill. It's not even the most recent version; I modified the Ministerial Deputies Act in a second bill (Amendment to the Ministerial Deputies Act) after Ruclax ruled that deputies succeeding to become ministers was unconstitutional. Thus, I hereby denounce this bill.

I can agree to everything except for deputies taking over without an election.

I agree with Vladovaskia on the issue that Ministers should solely be elected, not inherited. In addition, I am not fond of the whole “deputy” position as a whole, thus
I Denounce.
