The Commonwealth ParliamentThe Commonwealth Parliament is CFN's regional RP and is based around the fictional parliament of the Commonwealth of Free Nations. As OP of this RP I will be playing 3 roles. The first is the role of the Unfallion ambassador to the Parliament doing all the things that everyone else will be doing, the second is the Lord-Chancellor of the Commonwealth giving ability to reject stupid things without going into OOC (It will be used sparingly, if at all) and the third is God. I am God. If you go all warmongerish in the first 3 minutes with absolutely no character or nation progression whatsoever then don't be surprised when your country suffers a famine and a recession. It's been a year since the regional organisation of CFN was formed, forming a shaky bound between fundamentally different nations. Now, one year on, not much has been accomplished. All the nations of the region have given up their inter-regional representation and are now represented by the collective CFN on the global stage, however back on the regional stage the balance of power is constantly shifting with regional heavyweights battling for control and influence over the parliament and the nations around them. Some are in favour of full unification under the banner of the Commonwealth with full centralisation, others wish to remain as autonomous as possible and fewer still have other aims entirely.
The CFN Parliament, located in the Markotovian capital of Altsburg, has recently been rocked by a more pressing issue; a close regional ally has been invaded and an emergency session of all nations has been called to figure out what to do and how to respond. The lack of permanent military means that the organization must call upon member states to assist in any potential liberation, however a recent rise in pacifistic ideals across the Commonwealth has rendered military action wholly unpopular. Will aid come? Will the union be drawn together or drawn apart? Only time will decide.

You may only be 'present' in one thread at any one time and before you can go to another thread you must 'exit' the current thread. Example: "Bill, tired of all the nonsense, left the Chamber heading in direction of the Coffee house".
You must also announce your entry into each thread "Bill glided into the Coffee House and collapsed into a stool beside the bar".
An explanation on each is included below.Thread 1: The Parliamentary ChamberThe main thread. This is the thread in which you will propose bills (Yes, you can actually edit the laws of the region.). Initially the CFN will open with next to no laws, the only major one being that member states cannot handle interregional affairs, instead it is handled by the collective parliament. It is up to you to propose bills. These bills affect all member states and can range from military restrictions to mandatory capitalism (Though this is likely to insight a regional war). Voting is done via posting on the thread. Minor bills can be passed if there are a good amount of votes and no opposition, however major bills may require a regional convention.
This thread is also where all 'random events' will be posted and where topics will be debated. Wars must be declared in this thread and peace treaties (As well as all non-secret treaties) must be signed here.
Anything posted in this thread is considered to be public knowledge and all RP Characters are aware of it whether they are present in the thread at the time or not. (Exceptions can be made in the case of committee meetings and such)Thread 2: The Coffee House
The bar, mainly sells tax-free alcoho, but also does a world-class espresso. Located within the parliament.
This is the place for informal discussions that are in-character. This is the place for your bribing, your deal brokering (I'll vote yes for X if your government gives Unfallious 10 tonnes of Polonium) and your intimidation of other diplomats.
Anything posted in this thread can only be heard by characters present in the thread at the time. (This is within reason of course. If someone is quietly intimidating someone in the corner or cutting a deal you don't suddenly know the details just because you're in the room)

This is the place to call home to your nation, receive your orders/highly reactive assassination-grade polonium and generally concoct your schemes. This is your diplomat's residence and your embassy.
This is also the place where you'll have secret international meetings/meetings of the league of evil nations and sign secret treaties.

Biography: Yuri is the son of Hou Zhi Feng, the Father and Autocrat of the country, alongside his brother Xi Ghanzu. Feng was elected by the People's Council as the Second Autocrat when he was 27, now being 63. Yuri, therefore, grew up in the lap of luxury. He's basically an older Prince Harry, having lots of partying behind his belt, but he understands foreign politics; most importantly: foreign money.
Personality: Lazy, Informal, Intelligent when need be, that cool guy you hate because he seems so stupid but for some reason he makes more money and gets all the girls
