Power to the People Act Privacy Amendment
NOTING that the Power to the People Act specifically calls for the use of regional polling in holding the Cabinet vote of confidence.
CONCERNED that this method of non-secret balloting may influence voters to vote based on personal ties to ministers rather than their confidence in how ministers handle their duties.
HEREBY DECLARES:
1. That section III. of The Power to the People Act be rendered null and void and that the sections below be added in its place as sections III. and IV. respectively.
2. Vote of Confidences for all cabinet positions other than Chancellor must be handled by the Chancellor by way of regional telegram.
3. The Chancellor vote of confidence must be handled by either the Lord-Chancellor or the Minister of Internal Affairs by way of regional telegram.
