THE PARLIAMENTARY AUTONOMY ACT
A resolution to eliminate Cabinet influence in the Parliament
PREAMBLE
This law stands in recognition that that Parliament is the most important body of the Commonwealth of Free Nations, as it is composed of all citizens of the Commonwealth and has the power to create and repeal laws and referendums. As such, this law shall overturn undue power over the Parliament.

PREAMBLE
This law stands in recognition that that Parliament is the most important body of the Commonwealth of Free Nations, as it is composed of all citizens of the Commonwealth and has the power to create and repeal laws and referendums. As such, this law shall overturn undue power over the Parliament.
ARTICLE I:
Article II, Section 2 of the Government Mechanics of the Constitution shall be amended to state:
"The Executive Veto shall be given to the Chancellor. The Chancellor may veto any bill passed by the Parliament, but only by a supermajority (5/6) vote of the Cabinet approving a veto."
ARTICLE II:
Article III, Section 2 of the Parliament Functions of the Constitution shall be amended to state:
"The Parliament's primary purpose is to be a forum of legislation for the Commonwealth of Free Nations. Any Member of Parliament may submit proposals and vote on other proposals. Legislation is passed through the Parliament into law if after a one-week period that legislation holds an 51% or above endorsement rating."
ARTICLE III:
Article IV, Section 2 of the Cabinet Functions of the Constitution shall be repealed and rendered null and void.
ARTICLE IV:
Article V, Section 5 of the Cabinet-Specific Duties of the Constitution shall be amended to state:
"Minister of Internal Affairs has the primary duty of harmonizing inter-party relationships and accounting for the citizenship of the Commonwealth. The Minister of Internal Affairs will oversee and has the duty of managing the Citizenship Office, and handling citizenship for the entire Commonwealth of Free Nations. At any point, the Chancellor and/or Chief Justice may ask to review the citizenship records, or enter the Office account. The Minister of Internal Affairs shall keep an updated copy of the roster on their main nation, and delete it immediately after updating the roster before leaving office."
ARTICLE V:
All other articles, sections and laws conflicting with The Parliamentary Autonomy Act shall be amended or repealed to abide by this Act; to be done so by civil court, and be subjected to referendum, if requested, by the Parliament.
