As Mrs. Lincoln and the Libertatem president went off to dance, Henry Lincoln saw Sulanian ambassador Elthina enter the ballroom. The Minister of Justice walked up to her. "Ah!" Lincoln said as he approached. "You are the delegate from Sulania, if I remember correctly? I am Henry Lincoln, Minister of Justice for the CFN. I am pleased to see you here, madam." Lincoln shook the Sulanian diplomat's hand. "Ah yes, Minister Lincoln, it is a pleasure to see you here tonight." She said as she shook his hand and bowed slightly, doing the Sulanian Oath of Friendship with the other in which she placed her hand over her heart with the ring finger bent inwards. She noticed Minister Lincoln's wife dancing with President Humph, assuming that they have already made their acquaintances. "I wouldn't miss this even for anything, well anything expected." She said jokingly. "The President has arrived I see, I'm assuming you've two already met? What's he like?"

*The President finished his dance with Mrs. Lincoln with an absurdly dramatic dip. He escorted the giggling Minister's wife back to the crowd and bid her adieu. He moved to the judge that just arrived.*
"Good evening, Judge Fawkes, I'm glad you could meet me here. How goes your new appointment on the Bench?"

William takes a glass of wine from a passing waiter and sips. "My appointment is quite well, no great cases as of yet, but I am sure some shall appear."

There are plenty beautiful women here, and the wine flows well." He respectfully bowed and moved on.

Cyrus Nicoli walked into the ballroom of the Chancellor. Dazzling gold and shimmering silver lined the entire room. It was truly a grandeur sight. Music was playing, people were dancing; it was blissful. Cyrus smiled brightly. He had changed from a yellow suit into a red one, and he washed away the blue dye in his hair, so it shown in its original jet black. Though his Vistonian cuff still remain, albeit it was now gold. He walked the ballroom, gazing upon the revelers. "What a splendid shindig. Mark sure knows how to do things well... I'm impressed."

I can't say I have any complaints about him." There was an awkward silence. "So, how goes things in Sulania?"

*As Humpheria continued to move through the room, he found himself constantly looking to the Sulanian ambassador. Her plain beauty was far more noticeable than the bright colorful dresses of the wives of government officials. He saw that she was still engaged in conversation with the Minister, so he made his way to his old friend Cyrus, who just entered*
"Hello, Cyrus old boy! I must say your outfits are the prime reason for my coming to these events. Do you have any dance partners in your eye tonight?"

This wouldn't be a ball without you. Indeed, this red suit would be nothing without a man of your stature to notice it!" Cyrus winked. "And, no, I haven't found a partner yet. To be honest, I usually attend functions by myself." Cyrus shrugged. "I like being with me. Not to say being with another person isn't out of the question."

The only recent activity was an abortion incident, I'll spare you the details of that mess, this is hardly the place for that talk." She then noticed that President Humph was eyeing her, though she pretended not to notice. "Anyway, there are more guests that I'm sure would love to make their introductions to you, so I'll leave you to it." Serana said before moving away from Minister Lincoln. She wasn't all up for mingling though, so she politely sat on the sidelines and watched as the others danced and mingled on their own.

I hope to see your legendary dance moves at some point tonight. Do look sharp, I've gotten word that the Chief Justice will arrive soon with his date, the Defense Minister! It is absolutely scandalous, I love it. Well if you don't mind, mate, there is someone I've been meaning to speak to. Have fun!"

I cannot wait to see Alexander! Please, yes, go on and have a merry time!" Cyrus patted Humph on the back and let him be off.
He wandered around a bit before catching the eye of Judge Fawkes. Cyrus smiled and nodded his head towards him. The young, freshly-appointed judge was appealing in looks and potential on the bench.

*Humpheria moved on to the First Lady to bid her goodnight, as she would be leaving for Libertatem that night. As she walked from the building, he went to mirror to straighten his outfit and fix his hair. Confident in himself, he moved towards the Sulanian ambassador and respectfully bowed and kissed her hand.*
"Good evening, ma'am. I presume you are the Sulanian delegation? I'd heard of the famous Sulanian ambassador and her elegant military outfits, your reputation certainly precedes you."

She said, bowing her head in respect and giving the Oath of Friendship. "And your reputation precedes you, President Humph. Handsome on screen, and handsome in person." She adjusted her tie and moved a stray hair from her eyes. "It is an honor to finally meet you. What do you think of your Visit to the Commonwealth? Was it everything you hoped for it to be?"

As the Sulanian ambassador walked away, Elizabeth approached Henry Lincoln. "It looks like you enjoyed your dance," Henry remarked. "Indeed," Elizabeth affirmed. "Humpheria is very polite. And a very good dancer, too. I see you met with the Sulanian representative." "Yep. She seems nice. A wee bit standoffish, but nice." Henry and Elizabeth Lincoln chatted for a few more minutes, then they both went over to the refreshment table to get some punch.

It's been everything I could hope for. Friendly people, excellent state dinners and dinner parties, beautiful women. I'm glad that our nations can make a reconciliation have pleasant conversation despite ideological differences." *He looked out at the dance floor and smirked at the ambassador* "Well, I am inspired to dance, shall we?"
