Political Party Recognition Act
This bill is being Fast-Tracked
This will override Vista's Recognition Bill Understanding that political parties are one of the most important aspects of the CFN's political landscape Deeply Concerned that there is no current legislation regarding what makes a political party Further Noting that this bill will make Political Parties much more effective and fair. This bill hereby calls for:1. Defines a political party as a group of like-minded people trying to further their beliefs and influence in the CFN;
2. Designates the following criteria for classification as an official CFN Political Party: a. The party must have at least four (4) members, all of whom must be Members of Parliament (MP),
b. All members of the party must be registered citizens or residents, including the foreign variations of such,
c. The presence of an official Main Page or Headquarters which must contain the following information: i. Official ideologies of the party,
ii. Goals for the CFN, iii. List of party members
3. Ensures that political parties may act in coalition or merge with other parties;
4. Reaffirms the right of political parties to be allowed to recruit and advertise in the CFN provided that they do not violate the Communications Code;
5. Demands that each political party have one or more persons to ensure organization and cooperation within the parties and Parliament. (e.g. Chairman, Presidium, Triumvirate, etc.);
6. Requires that all parties write a constitution or guideline detailing their governance, membership policy, ideology, etc.;
7. Emphasizes with urgency that all Political Parties currently active in the CFN will be affected by this bill;
8. Declares accordingly Failure to meet these guidelines will result in the termination of "Official Party Status."

I actually like this. Nicely done. However, it's just an ideological dispute, but I believe the 5th clause should be removed. Leadership and hierarchy shouldn't be forced upon, persay, an Anarchist party.

Leadership and hierarchy shouldn't be forced upon, persay, an Anarchist party. I agree. Could it instead be changed to a stipulation requiring each party to have a Parliamentary Liaison? Is the purpose to have someone who can account for the party in Parliament, or enforce internal structure? If the former, I think a liaison-type position could work.

I'll change it so that it requires one or more nations to be accountable for organizing inter-party cooperation. Do you endorse?

I mean in the sense of what the current Constitutional Ammendment will do, I like the bill because it doesnt do that Oh ya this was just meant as a way to make sure Parties are kept fair. The main reason I made this bill was because many of the existing parties have members who have long since left the CFN and others aren't even registered citizens. So this bill will clean things up
